I would like to be considered for a suitable position in your Timber/forest
division as per your requirement. I have completed my post graduation
in Wood Science & Technology(Forestry) from Forest Research Institute in July,
2009. Forest Research Institute is one of the most prestigious
research organizations in the field of Forestry and related sciences.
MSc. Wood Science and Technology is a two-year course in which I have
undergone Industrial Training for a month in Tectonics interiors,
Mysore. Also I have worked on the topic a project work ‘BEST OPENIG
FACE SYSTEM IN WOOD ‘under Mr. Shachin Gupta, Scientist, Forest
Product Division, FRI, Dehradun. And A project work “QUARENTINE
REGULATION AND THEIR ENFORCEMENT WITH IN A COUNTRY AND OUT OF A
COUNTRY” Under, Dr. Shamila Kalia, Scientist-E, Forest Entomology
Division, FRI, Dehradun. This is for three months. Hence I am exposed
to both the research and market perspective of the timber industry. I
have a thorough know how of the wood industry as this course is one of
its kinds in Asia.
Apart from academics I have been active in extracurricular activities
and have occupied suitable leadership positions during my career. I
possess strong negotiating and convincing skills. Event management
and initiating activities has been my forte. Sports are also one of
my special interests and I have won several laurels as outlined in my
resume.
